SunAlta Power has entered into a development (design) agreement with Mount View County to develop and design a distribution-connected solar PV project at the decommissioned McDougall gravel mine.

Mountain View County and SunAtla Power have completed initial public consultations to determine land availability in order to negotiate a long-term land lease and community benefits agreement.  SunAlta Power is currently in the process of obtaining all required studies and permits for the project.
